Since 1958, RPGMotor Works has designed and built the motors that keep machines moving. Today about 12,100 people in eight facilities across Germany, Canada, the United States, Mexico and India engineer brushless DC (BLDC) and servo motors for industrial automation, robotics, medical and precision equipment, EV traction, aerospace and defense, heavy equipment, HVAC and pumps, and renewables. Our customers buy more than a motor from us. They buy torque they can count on, data they can act on and a partner who picks up the phone.

Engineered to keep turning. We design for the ten-thousandth hour, not the first demo.

Engineered to keep turning is the promise behind every product, quote and service call we make. It means our engineers test motors well past their rated duty cycle before a part number is released, and our application teams size a drive for the customer's real load profile, not the catalog one. It means we choose bearings, insulation and magnets for the life of the machine, not the length of the warranty. And it means that when a line stops, we treat the problem as ours until it is solved. The promise belongs to everyone at RPGMotor Works: the machinist in Greenville, the firmware developer in Bengaluru, the sales rep visiting a pump maker. In customer-facing layouts, the promise appears only as the tagline lockup supplied by Brand. Never retype it as a headline in another font or color.

Our service commitment

RPG ServiceLine stays with the motor for its whole working life.

RPG ServiceLine is our field service, repair and spare parts organization. It supports every motor we have shipped, including families we no longer build.

ServiceLine technicians work from regional hubs in Kitchener, Greenville, Stuttgart and Pune, and the service desk at +1 (800) 555-0157 is staffed around the clock. Customers who connect their equipment to DriveSense® condition monitoring get early warning of bearing wear, winding temperature and vibration, so repairs can be planned before a failure stops production. When you describe ServiceLine to a customer, promise what we actually deliver: response times, parts availability and repair turnaround. Never promise zero downtime.

Fifteen product families, one standard of engineering

RPGMotor Works grew from a single Stuttgart workshop building servo motors for machine tools into a company with three divisions: Industrial Drives, Mobility, and Aerospace & Defense. Each division has its own customers, certifications and sales channels, but all three share one engineering culture, one quality system and one brand. Our 15 product families keep their own names because engineers and buyers search for them by name. The RPGMotor Works brand stands behind every one of them.

When a customer sees the Rotor symbol on a ServoPrime® drive or an AeroX® actuator, they should know exactly who built it and who will service it.
